February Coding

Coding the movements of the ladybug on a route (encounters with other insects). Children use flashcards to decide directions and order of encounters.

In February in our project Colourful Preschool Time we will deal with hippo day and the color gray.

Younger students will become familiar with an activity with arrows in different directions (up, down, right, left) following the pattern.

The older students will lead the little Hippopotamus to the creations that the other schools have prepared (either drawings or information in code that the children will say something important about the hippopotamus, e.g. it is gray in color or even to the exhibition of Mr. Gray's works with drawings only in shades of gray). The teacher will place the cards on the beebot mockup.

Creations will be added to a collaborative digital tool, the link to which will be shared with project members.

Το Μάιο με το έργο μας: Colourful Preschool Time θα ασχοληθούμε με το κίτρινο χρώμα και την ημέρα της μέλισσας. 

Θα ετοιμάσουμε μια πίστα με πολλά λουλούδια και η μελισσούλα μας (beebot) θα ρουφά το νέκταρ μόνο από τα κίτρινα λουλούδια. Στα παιδιά θα δοθεί και φύλλο εργασίας με δύο ή περισσότερα λουλούδια,  ένα από τα οποία θα είναι κίτρινο. Τα φύλλα εργασίας θα είναι διαφορετικά για κάθε παιδί, ανάλογα με την ηλικία του και την εξοικείωσή του με αλγορίθμους. 

Εναλλακτικά, μπορούμε να δώσουμε στα παιδιά κάρτες με βελάκια - κώδικες και να ζητηθεί από αυτά να πουν αν ο κώδικας είναι σωστός ή όχι.
