Kindergarten students in this activity explore space with the help of robotics.We introduce children to robotics and learn how to create routes. We play with the robot mouse Colby and create space-themed routes. Each time, the children are tasked with guiding the mouse Colby to a different planet, spaceship, or satellite. The students experiment with directions and discover the correct path that Colby needs to follow in order to reach the desired destination each time. In this way, the exploratory and experiential learning of the children is enhanced. They formulate hypotheses, discover their own learning, learn to solve problems, collaborate with each other, and finally, they learn basic programming concepts in a playful manner.
