1. Demonstration with our facilitators, walking step by step through coding examples. 2. Interactive coding exercises providing students the opportunity to practise what they have learned. 3. Pair programming, where student will work together and help each other with feedback and suggestions for improvement. 4. Peer teaching, where more experienced learner can assist the facilitator therefore enhancing understanding and communication skills.

Scratch encourages critical thinking, problem solving, communication and digital literacy. The teaching methodology would be 1. demonstration with instructors walking step by step through coding examples 2. interactive coding exercises providing students to practise what they have learned 3. pair programming where student will work together and help each other with feedback and suggestions for improvement. 4. peer teaching where more experienced learner can assist the the instructor enhancing understanding and communication skills Target group is 8 to 11 year olds, workshop to be held during the normal school day and free to all children. Mixed group of children including children with disabilities , children who have no access to IT devices and children from low income households. Our event is special because it is inclusive of everyone and during the school day so there is nothing to stop everyone from attending.
