"Online Library" is a student-centerred project, organised by ICT Cortex in cooperation with High school for electro-technical studies "Vaso Aligrudic" from Podgorica, and supported by seven prominent IT companies from Montenegro. During this project, third grade students of the School will attend part of their classes in the mentioned companies. This concept aims to promote cooperative education whereas curriculum encompasses both theoretical and practical teachings. The students will be organised in 7 teams and deployed in 7 companies. With the mentorship of programmers from the companies as well as the school teachers, the students will be developing web application for their school library. At the end of this programme, team with the best technical solutions will won further educational opportunities and an internship with one of the companies.

Butterfly Algorithms

Computational thinking is a problem-solving process that is used in everyday life as well as computer programs. In this lesson, students apply their computational thinking skills to explore the life cycle of a butterfly. They'll create an algorithm, or set of instructions, to model the life cycle of a butterfly. They will write this algorithm using conditionals and then program it on a computer.
Students will:
- Analyze the life cycle of a butterfly.
- Develop an algorithm that describes the cycle.
- Apply conditionals to an algorithm.
- Finish and test the algorithm of a computer program to demonstrate the life cycle of a butterfly.
