Tuath Housing Association was established and registered in 2000, awarded Voluntary Housing Status by the Department of the Environment and is a member of the Irish Council for Social Housing. We provide housing to over 15,000 tenants and currently manage 5,600 homes. We work in partnership with our tenants, using new technologies to increase accessibility to online information and to provide feedback, engagement and support to develop stronger communities. Some great partnerships formed in 2019 have been in youth engagement and running Coderdojo classes with tenants in Co.Louth. We provided our tenants’ children with a wonderful opportunity to learn a valuable new skill in computer programming through Coderdojo’s coding classes. We would like to run a national online Halloween coding event for children aged 8- 16 and feel that the event on the 28th October will be really beneficial to our residents children to learn about coding for the first time or build their confidence in coding.
