Programming-related professions are our future, so we have to teach students to program and encourage them to gain new knowledge in this branch. This event will help students to do this. The purpose of the event is to promote the distribution of information about coding and the creation of various applications and games using the code. The aim of this activity is to raise awareness of students about coding and computational thinking and to get them acquainted with the basic concepts of coding. The use of tinkering and educational robotics as a teaching and learning tool within a school curriculum encourages students to be guided in discovery, in problem posing and in problem solving. Coding, tinkering, robotics and microelectronics can help to engage students in developing useful skills and competencies to deal with many types of problems and to develop critical and computational thinking. Robotics activities are designed to empower students' engagement with STEM as a medium for computational thinking, problem solving, creativity, communication, collaboration, and programming skills. During this event, children will get acquainted with the Python programming language, will learn how to program robots, and will get acquainted with the Internet of Things. The events to be held within Code Week: 1. Master class "Creating 3D models". Talking with kids about what 3D-modeling and programming is. Teaching children the main functions of the TinkerCad. Creation of the 3D model with children. Demonstration of work program; code analysis with children. Creation with the kids code that builds the 3D model. 2. Making robotics and tinkering in the classroom - https://codeweek.eu/training/making-robotics-and-tinkering-in-the-classroom 3. The purpose of this event is to introduce 12-year-old students to coding. This will be achieved using CodyRoby offline games, so as to engage students in computer thinking. CodyRoby - http://codeweek.it/cody-roby-en/ecw-edition/ 4. Coding in art. We study the concept of fractals. Creating a fractal artistic composition is not in drawing, but in programming. In software, images are automatically generated by mathematical calculations. 5. Tutorials on the https://pilot.europeanschoolnetacademy.eu platform and https://education.microsoft.com/ on coding for educators. Courses passing. 6. Programming in games. Students play games that teach them how to program - CodeCombat.com, Code.org/learn, Checkio, Empireofcode.com, Codewars, ScratchHarvey Mudd. These free resources will help you learn the basics of programming by playing games or even creating them. https://life.pravda.com.ua/society/2016/03/4/208901/ 7. Introduction to Augmented reality (AR). Conducting seminars. 8. Scratch Workshop to help students learn basic programming concepts - variables, conditions, loops, functions. Students will understand what multimedia content means - animation, text, image and sound - and learn to make their own games on a more advanced level. 9. Seminar for girls. Skype meeting with a female programmer. Tips for Girls on a Successful Career in IT. 10. Closing ceremony; receiving certificates; acquaintance with professions that are related to programming.
