From Wednesday 12th of December 2018 at 10:00 to Wednesday 12th of December 2018 at 10:30

Description:

Solving problems with micro:bit, programming LED diode (changing input which results in output). Student creates, tracks, and rearranges the program, foresees the behavior of simple algorithms. In order to program our micro:bit, we'll use Mu programming environment: https://codewith.mu/en/tutorials/1.0/microbit 1. http://bit.ly/2WKsTFL 2. http://bit.ly/317FZw9 3. http://bit.ly/2Io06O1 4. http://bit.ly/2Kw9wJZ
Start: Oct 21, 2019
This activity revolves around using micro:bit devices. The activity begins with brief introduction about micro:bits. It's primarily intended for 5th grade students, as an introduction to programming. In the first part, students will be briefly familiarized with using micro:bits, whereby they will create their first mini-programs. After that, they will hear a short stroy about a lost Christmas character and they will be given a task to find the person by solving math-related hints and cues. Solution of each little math task leads to a piece of code that needs to be incorporated together in order to find the concluding solution to the task. Because those code blocks aren't in order, students will simoultaneously have to learn about both math and what each of those programming expression does.
Start: Oct 6, 2019
Introducing students to the basics of computer programming and creative thinking through the creation of animations and games on a Alice platform where students could use interactive 3D Graphics. The aim is to encourage students to use their own creativity and turn it into an interactive reality.
Start: Oct 7, 2019
Create a story about all the books you love. Every participant will make a short story about his/her favorite book. They will create a character in Scratch that tell short story about their favorite book.
