Science on stage Albania is going to organize a National Workshop. In Cooperation with Science on Stage partner, we aim to create this event described as below: The event will take place in Edu Act Albania Center in Tirana, Albania. This event is going to be organized in October 13, during all day. This event is going to be organized as a workshop. In this workshop we are going to present the Coding Clubs that will be created before the workshop in different schools in Albania. In this workshop is going to be presented coding done by this schools showing the best work. Also, we are going to present a class coding training, during this day, where some teachers and students are selected to be trained into our center. ACTIVITIES: 1. Teacher training 2. Creating Club Codes 3. Call for application (Invited pupils from different schools to participate) 6. Pupil's journey to the center 7. Butterfly Algorithms
Computational thinking is a problem-solving process that is used in everyday life as well as computer programs. In this lesson, students apply their computational thinking skills to explore the life cycle of a butterfly. They'll create an algorithm, or set of instructions, to model the life cycle of a butterfly. They will write this algorithm using conditionals and then program it on a computer.
Students will:
- Analyze the life cycle of a butterfly.
- Develop an algorithm that describes the cycle.
- Apply conditionals to an algorithm.
- Finish and test the algorithm of a computer program to demonstrate the life cycle of a butterfly.
