Hello, The activity consists of introducing to a group of pupils the objects that the students will realize. The objects will be based on encoding, the programming will be used micro: bit in different ways. This activity will be realized in the school premises, in a group of about 50 people. Will be realized during 3 days 18-19-20 October. Pupils will be aged 11-14 years and will demonstrate programming micro:bits. These programmed microbits will be placed inside the objects created by the pupils themselves, such as a machine, robot, etc. Finally, they will realize a vidio with their presentations.

Computational thinking is a problem-solving process that is used in everyday life as well as computer programs. In this lesson, students apply their computational thinking skills to explore the life cycle of a butterfly. They'll create an algorithm, or set of instructions, to model the life cycle of a butterfly. They will write this algorithm using conditionals and then program it on a computer.
Students will:
- Analyze the life cycle of a butterfly.
- Develop an algorithm that describes the cycle.
- Apply conditionals to an algorithm.
- Finish and test the algorithm of a computer program to demonstrate the life cycle of a butterfly.
