The Applied Machine Learning Days is one of the largest machine learning & AI events in Europe, focused specifically on the applications of machine learning and AI, making it particularly interesting to industry and academia. Saturday & Sunday will be hands-on, with workshops, trainings and tutorials. The main conference will take place on Monday and Tuesday, with a program featuring top-level speakers, a Networking Dinner, Poster Sessions and a Job Fair. The weekend will also feature the Open Food Hackdays 2018, brought to EPFL by OpenData.ch. This hackathon will gather engineers, designers, agricultural and nutrition experts and entrepreneurs to jointly develop new solutions for a transparent, efficient, and innovative food industry based on open food data. Among all these activities, a session will be dedicated to promote technology among young girls from 9 to 16 with a Girlscoding: Teaching Computers How to Think workshop given on mornings.
